Testimonies

I can sit here and tell you more about myself and why I am the leader you should choose to represent you and your children. However; I believe it is more powerful coming from people that know my character, and have personally seen me lead in high-level positions.

Juneteenth Message: Mandatory African American History

Juneteenth is the recognition of freedom, and a reminder for all of us to teach our students about the entire real history of America. We are responsible for sparking the conversation of equity, inclusion, diversity, and unity in our schools.

We have come so far since June 19, 1865 but we still have a very long way to go.

How Being a Change Agent Means Changing The System

Why Real Service is Important for Leadership

I am an advocate for our students to have more in depth volunteer service. This will help our students develop the skills they need to be the leaders our community needs.

Pride Month: LGBTQ Family in PGCPS

Love is patient, Love is Kind, Love keeps no record of wrong. This is the kind of love that I strive to show everyday. I don’t always hit the mark. But I keep trying, and I hope you will join me.

Black Music Month: Performing Arts Funding

As we conclude Black Music Month, I thought I would share with you another reason why it is important to fund the arts in PGCPS.
Not just for our kids to reach their fullest potential and follow their dreams. But to provide our children with the opportunity to express themselves productively, and align them with opportunity, and hope.
